I just can't contain my total glee in returning to college! It is my third day, and although I am only taking one class it is SO good to be back. I am blessed to have an awesome grandmother who is helping me out. I quit my job (which I hated) and am now easing my way back into College after two and a half stagnant years of working trying to save up. (financial aid was out of the question since my mother was never good at cooperating with her information, and I couldn't afford to be unsure about where my rent came from)... So now, at 18 weeks pregnant I am back living with family and getting back on track. I want to ease back into it before he/she is actually born, so that I don't get too overwhelmed. It feels good to know that I will be able to make something of my life so that I can give my little one the life he/she deserves.
Re: Back to school
Once the baby is here and is youre dependant you will qualify for financial aid and a lot more grants b/c you will be an independant student and won't need anyone else's income information.
Also, I suggest trying to take as many classes as you can BEFORE the baby gets here. After will be harder but not impossible. I did it w/ 2 children and graduated Manga and in the top 1% of my Dept.
