Hand Foot Mouth and Daycare?

How long does LO need to be out of daycare, they (DC) never really specified so I have no clue what the general rule is.  My LO started with blisters on his butt on Sunday (and later smaller ones on his hands and feet yesterday), His temp never went above 100 and he seems to be close to his normal self

    DS's daycare said he had to be fever free for 24 hours. Since he never had a fever they allowed him to return 24 hours after he was diagnosed by his pedi.  GL!

    Fever free 24 hrs. DS had A LOT of sores all over his body, so his dr's office recommended waiting until they started healing up, so we ended up keeping DS home for several days.

    Ours was just the fever as well. Once the blisters pop out they are already over the contagious stage is what my pedi said in general.

    My pedi said same, that once the rash shows up they are pretty much over being contagious.
