MIL thinks I'm a better mom

I have no idea what she means by it, but she told this to DH over the weekend I'm a better mom than she ever was. I love my MIL and this makes me sad because I know she's a great mom. I want to tell her but just don't know how to even bring it up.

    Hmm I dont know if I would bring it up, or just wait until the right time/moment if she does something for your LO (say you are the best grandma etc) Or Mothers day you can write her a nice card saying how great DH is because you raised him the way you did? Idk just a suggestion =)) good luck!

    To be honest, I wouldn't bring it up.  I would just let it go.  How nice of your mil to recognize what a great mom you are!

    oh and this also! I forgot to mention that! Usually you hear of MILS complaing about their sons wives this is nice to hear!

    i agree with previous posters--she was awesome because she raised a wonderful man who is now your husband--at least that is what i have told my mil and fil both--i thank them for creating and raising the wonderful person i now get to share my world with!

    You're very lucky!  I would bring it up and shove it in her face at every opportunity to make her feel bad. 

     

    I kid, I kid!  Seriously though, I would just leave it alone and try to find ways of showing her what a great Grandma you think she is.
