Anyone have sudden sharp pains on one side and NOT ectopic???

I have had random sharp (stop you in your tracks) pains on my right side.

I am nervous about ANOTHER (3rd) ectopic.

Is this normal? Am I going crazy?

First u/s isn't until NEXT friday the 8th!!! BAH!

Yes, I did and I was certain it was ectopic. It turned out to just be an ovarian cyst. Hang in there, sweetie! I know it must be very scary given your history. Sending tons and tons of good vibes!!

Yep, Every time I sneezed, moved wierd or even just rolled over I would get them. Still do but more achy now and not so sharp of a pain. Sounds like RLP.

Ditto, I mentioned them when I went in for my u/s and they were from cysts I had leftover. Another odd thing was that I was having the pains in my left side and was sure I was having an ectopic... but the cysts are actually on my right ovary. She said a lot of times it will send the pain radiating to the opposite side that they're on. Something to consider if you have cysts at your u/s and see what side they're actually on. I hope that's all it is for you, I know how scared I was at the time!

Yes I have them... I'm not sure if it's because of the OHSS or the fact that I have cysts all over my ovaries but I get them pretty frequently on both sides (but not at the same time). Both of my babies are in my ute.

Yup!!!! Around 5-6 weeks I was getting sharp pulling pains on one side. they went away after 6 weeks though. Good luck sweetie!!!

Yep started around week 5 and I was certain it was ectopic. Lasted a few weeks. Hang in there, it's torture waiting for that first u/s.

Yep, I sure did! Sent me in for an early u/s at 5w2. It was a combo of RLP and a cyst. I got the same pain many times after it was confirmed not ectopic. Hang in there!!
