u/s update! and a question

I had my first trimester scan today and was so amazing by how big my baby is now. I am not feeling that big, so it was impressive to see that baby was measuring right on track! Baby was so adorable....I loved all the movement....the little hands and feet.....I am in love!

They measured the fold of baby's neck and said that it should be less than 3mm and it was 1.9mm. I guess that is good news, but 1.9mm seems so awfully close to 3mm. Or maybe I am just analyzing it too much. I also got b/w done and waiting on those results. Hopefully that won't take too long. What are your thoughts on my baby's measurements?

I think the measurement sounds good, if they want it to be less than 3. Glad you got to see baby moving around. How exciting!

Congats on a great screening!! I'm not sure about the measurements, I actually have my first trimester screening tomorrow. I'm so nervous, I hope it goes as well as yours did

1.9 is a great measurement. Seriously. Don't stress. Mine was 2.2 and there are other ladies on here who had higher measurements and everything was just fine.

That is a great measurment! Mine was the same (1.9) and I thought it was close the 2.5 'limit' they were looking for. However, I also read that for every day you are over 12 weeks at the scan, the 'limit' increases a little.

And FWIW, my baby boy is just perfect.

Congratulations on a great scan! The measurements sound really good. I am sure if they had any concern they would have suggested further testing. Try not to worry. From what you said I think your LO sounds perfect :-)
