July 2011 Moms

please tell me I'm not the only one....

that has been wearing panty liners all day, every day for what seems like an eternity now!! When I read there might be an increase in vaginal discharge, I really did not think it would be this much! And this whole time I'm thinking, "Why didn't any of my friends or family members who already have children warn me??" I guess it's a bit of a touchy subject, eh? hehe

Happy panty liner wearing day to you! hahaha

Re: please tell me I'm not the only one....

  • Yep. I bought a huge costco box of about 100 of them. I wear one everyday...but it's not due to discharge...rather, it's because I pee myself. I cough=pee, I sneeze=pee.

I think I need to be re-potty trained again Embarrassed

  • I've been wearing them like its my religeon! My husband even got used to them! Lol
  • Not too touchy for me! Thanks for bringing it up. So glad I'm not alone. Seriously (TMI alert) if I take one pantiliner off and don't put another one on right away, well those panties are destined for the laundry right away, gross! Sigh. Haha.

Happy panty liner wearing day/week/month(s) to you, too!! :)

  • I'm right there with you.  I was wondering why my girlfriends never mentioned this and some of the other unpleasantness that occurs and I really think it's because our population would come to a screeching halt if women knew what actually happens to our bodies during pregnancy.  I'm talking about the skin tags, pantiliners, swollen everything, etc!  Trust me, I love the experience and it will all be worth it in the end of this amazing journey!

YES!!!!!!! I have added a handful of panty liners to every purse and messenger bag (for school) so that I make sure to always have some with me! DH and I call them VD catchers. Which sounds horrible, yet hilarious! haha

And you're right, it's more like Happy Panty Liner wearing MONTHS!

I rushed to my OBs when I discovered skin tags. I thought I had genital warts! I freaked out! The info in the baby books only talked about them being on your neck, or armpits. NOWHERE did it say you can get them in between your thighs by your crotch. (Sorry if TMI). I was totally freaked out bc nobody ever talked about it, nor was it in any of the baby books I had, GOOGLE wasn't helpful either! Haha.

  • You are not the only one! I don't know what I would do without mine. I just hope I can go back to being "normal" after pregnancy.
