Your experiences with a family bed!

I am just wondering what experiences you have had with this. I am a single mom & sharing a room with my DS (4years). Right now we have 2 beds in the room & he only sleeps with me on occasion.

I am also having a baby (who will sleep in a moses bed on my bed for awhile). After that I am wondering if it would be easier to let my son sleep in my bed & get a crib for the baby, have the baby continue to sleep with me, or to try and fit 2 beds & a crib in one room.

    I think it's a personal comfort thing. We are still bedsharing with S mostly so that when she wakes in the night to nurse, I don't have to REALLY wake up. If your LO is okay in his own bed, I'd probably leave it be and then play it by ear with the new squishy. You can always squeeze a crib into the room later if you decide it's a necessity.
