April Fools Day tomorrow - anyone have jokes planned?

I'm not really a jokster - that's my husband 100%. So I am going to have to be extra dilligent tomorrow so I can make sure he doesn't pull one over on me! He manages to get me every year despite my attempts to remind myself of this lovely holiday. I'm just gullible.

However, oddly enough I have some friends coming into town tomorrow and they are staying at my house, so all of our mutual friends are also coming over to visit and have dinner. I'm planning on telling everyone at our little get together that I'm pregnant - and I'm pretty sure none of them are going to believe me due to it being April Fools Day. I seriously didn't plan it that way, I only realized the date today! LOL! Oh well...

I aways do the "I'm Pregnant" LOL and it never works..Maybe I can try again this year :-)

But I am a totally jokster.. I will have to think about what I am going to do....

We haven't announced at work yet. I think we're still going to hold off on telling coworkers, but DH & I are going to tell our bosses tomorrow.

We both have great relationships with our bosses, so we'll drop a casual, "Hey, Happy April Fools Day" in the morning and then go in for the real conversation in the afternoon. We won't necessarily connect the two...just leave the bosses questioning whether it's true... Smile

We thought about doing " WERE HAVING TWINS" ask our "joke" but since I am not 12 weeks yet we arent going to. Thought it would be funny though!

Not a big jokester, and I don't think I could ever successfully pull off a prank. However, last year, my friend was due on April 20th and ended up having her baby on April 1st. I woke up to a couple texts saying, "on my way to the hospital," "just had baby," etc. I spent some time pondering if it was a joke, but she is totally not the type to do something like that.

ooh ooh! i got one....tell them that you are pregnant, let them have their natural, excited reaction, then tell them its triplets or quads or something. they will TOTALLY fall for it, b/c of the exciting news you just gave them, thats real! HAHAHAHA!

Last year my BFF helped me fool everyone into thinking I was pregnant again already. My son was only 6 months old at the time and people were FREAKING out! It was pretty fun, I don't normally play jokes on people. I, too, am quite gullible!

DH got an ultrasound pic of triplets and plans on emailing that to MIL. I doubt she will buy it, but we will see. She always tries to trick him, she told him they got a new dog one year and went into so much detail that we did believe that one.

Not particularly original, but it should be fun. We gave our family and close friends a heads up to not comment and do anything to ruin the joke for others.

I am purposely not telling my boss I am pregnant tomorrow. I mentioned telling him on 4/1 because I'd be 13-weeks tomorrow to my husband and he said 4/1 is probably not a great day to share something so important. I was like, oh yeah.

I was considering posting that I'm pregnant on Facebook tomorrow just to confuse people, but most of our friends know, so I think I'd get enough comments that there would be no surprsise or joke to it.

I love April Fools Day. After my coworkers leave today, I am staying behind and will be messing with their offices. Taping down the phone button so when they pick up the receiver the phone will keep ringing.....moving around some of the buttons on the computer keyboards....stuff like that.

One year I wrapped everything in an employee's office in aluminum foil. It was awesome.

If you have an easy going office, a fun prank to do is to switch the letters m and n on peoples' keyboards. It's such a small thing but sometimes it's hard to notice!
