Re: your post about baby carriers...depending on how big your LO is right now, you can use the Ergo without the infant insert--just "kangaroo" him/her (legs tucked up) and adjust the Ergo so that it's holding the LO close to you.  I had the original infant insert that Ergo made and b/c DD#2 was on the big side as a newborn, it was really awkward to use--the newer infant insert looks much more useful.  Once another mother pointed out that I could use it without the insert the way I just described, it made all the difference.
