for Triplets?
I have 1 of everything because we have an 18mo already! Soooo, what should I "triple" up on??? What did you or didn't you use 3 of??
How many bottles and all that kind of little stuff did you need at first? I'm doing Evenflo's plastic bottles, I have tons of the 8oz, but want to get 4oz ones for the first couple months.
I'm trying to make a list, but I feel like I'm either Over thinking, or leaving stuff out! Anyone have a list?
TIA for your help!!!
Re: what to buy/register for?
I started on the 4oz bottles upon recommendation by a friend with a singleton and I totally regret it. Tandem bottle feeding babies is so much easier with the longer 8oz bottles. It's one of those things I didn't think about, and don't think anyone thinks about, until you've fed 2+ babies at once. I started with glass evenflos and switched to Dr. Brown's for reflux. It's not like I spent a ton on the 4oz bottles, but I'd still rather have the money to spend on something I used for more than 4 weeks.
I make up a whole day's worth of formula at once and fill the bottles. The Dr. Brown mixing pitchers are perfect for this. I have 30 bottles but really only use about 24 each day. There are always a few I can't locate at wash time so I got a few extra.
I have 3 boppies that we lay quilts in to act as little nests at nap time. I know some moms are shaking their heads a this, but with their reflux issues this works for us.
I have 4 bouncy so we can keep a couple upstairs and a couple downstairs. I have several swings for the same reason. (Most of these were given to us)
I love the Swaddle Me swaddle sacks.
Carters swaddle blankets are the best. They are a good size and knit instead of flannel. The Just One Year version of them at Target are also wonderful.
I can't say enough about the Fisher-Price Rock 'n Play sleeper. I have two and keep them next to the rocking chair so I can juggle babies at feeding time.
I just have one play mat. Right now they all fit on it and will have to cycle them through as they get bigger.
I have two pack 'n plays. One in my room and one downstairs. We might need a third when they are a little bigger and we start taking trips to my folk's house.
I love, love, love my Valco Tri-mode. Expensive, but so worth the money. (I got mine brand new on eBay for $500) I have the Joey seat for when the get bigger (make sure you get the 2010 model) and right now I use the hush bassinet attachment on one side. Check out my blog post to see how it works: https://www.brandttriplets.com/2011/03/this-is-how-we-roll.html. If you do end up with the Valco let me know. I'm sure we'll be done with the bassinet by then.
I hope I haven't overwhelmed you any more.

Couple more things. The total pillow makes the perfect bottle prop (found this one out on accident). I got mine at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $15.
Dido the Dr. Browns. I started the cheap Gerbers and forked over the cash for the Dr Browns after several nights of screaming.
Be sure the test the car seats in your car before you register. Gracos were my first choice until I discovered they wouldn't fit. I started with Baby Trend Flex-Locs and returned them because I hated them so much. The puzzle buckle is a nightmare. I now have Chicco Ket Fit and couldn't be happier.

Things we have three of and use(d) regularly: boppies, FP Rock and Play Seepers (especially great for reflux babies), bouncers, and we're starting to use bumbos more.
Things we have two of: swings (my DDs prefer them, so they're usually in them), diaper pails (one on each level), diaper bags, carriers (one baby Bjorn and one Moby)
Things we have one of and they rotate using: play mat, tummy time mat, exersaucer, jumper, pack n play (if we had the space, I'd get two), and a bumbo tray.
Things we have many of: bottles (about 30), bibs, cloth diapers (for burp cloths), swaddling blankets (6 Aden & Anais and 3 Swaddle designs), SwaddleMe (we have 6), and sleepsacks (we have a variety of sleeveless, long sleeved, and fleece). So far this has worked well for us.
This FP Rock and Play sleeper you speak of...I looked online, what's the difference between that and just a bouncy/vibrating seat? Is it just higher off the ground? I have a bouncy chair from DD, and will be borrowing 1 or 2 more, should I have both these and the FP R&P sleeper???
Did any of you do bassinets in your room? Or did you just put them right in their cribs?
When tandum feeding, did you just use the same bottle to feed all 3? That thought never even crossed my mind!!!!
We are buying a minivan in the next couple months, and we have the Graco snugride infant seats x3 and then my DD is in a Britax. Are they gonna fit?! I was thinking of doing the 3 in the back on the bench, and DD in the middle on one of the captains chairs. Maybe I'll have to one of the triplets on the chair...guess that'll be something to figure out when we're looking. I didn't have to buy any car seats, all given to us from family/friends, and all are compatible with our 2 double Graco strollers!!!
We had three of the following: boppy pillow, bouncy seats, activity mats, bumbos
We had one swing and one exersaucer that they shared.
They were in their own individual cribs in their nursery from the day they came home from the hospital. Like pp said, I also would just start with the 8oz bottles. They use the 4 oz ones for such a short time, I felt we wasted $ on them. We would make bottles once a day and in the beginning used 24 (8 feedings a day). We used the Playtex drop ins. The 4oz liners fit in the 8oz bottles (just FYI).
We use different bottles for each baby. One of ours was on a high calorie formula to gain weight, and different bottles make it easier to track how much each is eating.
I'm not sure about the carseat as ours are still in their infant, peg perego car seats.
A couple photos...
In their RNP with head cushions:
Tandem feeding; the longer bottles are easier to hold/prop. This is where we make most use of the boppies and bouncer
We fed them separately for the first month, and didn't start propping until four months.
