So one of my sisters really good friends (who was 12 weeks pg) started spotting at work yesterday, went into her OB for an u/s and confirmed no h/b...She had her D&C this morning. I cried last night for her loss too Sad

She and my sister are both LCSW's (Licensed Clinical Social Workers) at a hospital....spending their days helping and taking care of people. She and her husband were trying for their first baby too.

My sister asked if maybe when things calm down a little for her maybe I could email her to offer some support since I know what it's like to go through this. My sis has 2 kids and never had a loss. I told her I would absolutely do that, because sometimes the only people that can make you feel better are the ones who have been through this and understand.

I just don't understand the way of the world...we are all good women, responsible, willing and able....when do we get our take home babies?!?!?! Sad

Hugs to your sisters friend. I would definitely invite her to join our little group for comfort and support. Hugs to you too, as its even more real for you! That was a nice thing for your sister to do (reach out to you for her) {Hugs}

And an angry fist shake that things like "teen mom" are able to exist but we don't get our take-home babies.

I'm sorry for your sister's friend and also for you as well. It's really not fair that any of us know the reality of this and how hard it it. ((Hugs))
