I think I am leaning more towards Ella Grace but my husband has fallen in love with the name Ellianna Grace. He likes the nm 'Elli' . . Thoughts? Opinions? Thanks!
I agree with your husband. Ellianna is less common. I know 2 Ella Grace's under age 4, but whatever you decide it's a gorgeous name. A friend on FB named her daughter Audrianna (nn Audrey) which I think is cute. GL !
I'd trim it down a bit and go with Eliana. Same pronunciation, but streamlined. I agree with PP that it seems like too many letters the way your DH has it spelled.
I love Eliana but prefer it spelled more simply. I feel Ella makes a good nickname, but for me doesn't leave many options.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I guess I'm in the minority, as I know more Ellianna's than Ella's. Personally, I prefer Ella. It sounds more classic and is generally just a prettier name, in my opinion.
If you want that long anna part at the end (which is different than ana) I would spell it like Elianna. The double ll and then nn are a bit much. I'm not exaclty sure how you are pronouncing it.
I have a friend named Eliana and I think it's just a beautiful name.

Love Eliana (although Ella has a wonderful, simple, classic, sophisticated feel to it even though I know it is popular!)
My friend's 6-year-old daughter is named Grace Eliana... so I'm leaning towards Eliana Grace (spelled with the one L and one N). Though Ella is nice too.
Hate the name Ella, yuck, there are 4 Ella's in my daycare of 50 students, way to popular!!!! I like Ellianna alot more!!! On babynames.com they spell it Elliana.
