How do you clean fingerprints off of an LCD TV screen?

My DS managed to climb up on to our TV console and totally smudged up our LCD screen - fingerprints and handprints all over. I tried rubbing them out with the cloth that came with it, but they are still there.

How do you clean fingerprints off your LCD screen? Plain water? I read that you can use a 50/50 mixture of water/rubbing alcohol, but I'm scared to try it.

    I just use water and a microfiber cloth.  I'm not sure that is how you are supposed to do it, but it works for me.

    I use the water/alcohol mix on the microfiber cloth.  The alcohol makes the water evaporate faster so there is not moisture on the screen for too long.

    We bought some special LCD cleaning wipes.  We use them on the tv, the computer and DH's iPhone.
