I got in an accident in DH's car on the way to work this morning Crying

I'm so mad at myself right now!! I'm so used to driving a stick shift that I forgot an automatic moves forward on its own if you take your foot off the break.

I was completely stopped at a light & reached over to get chapstick out of my purse... my foot slipped off the break slightly & BAM! It didn't just put a scratch on the minivan, but completely dented in the van's backside. There wasn't even a scratch on DH's car.

Thankfully the guy was more than nice about it. He said it was a company car & it wasn't a big deal... more than likely "I won't even hear from him!"

I'm hoping the start of yall's halloween is a lot better than mine...

So sorry...if it makes you feel better I did the exact same thing in the Starbucks drivethru no damage but equally day ruining! Hope your day gets better and yes at least you are Ok and so is Dh's car.
