So I think it's official...

We have our first cold. Runny nose and a dry cough. Im about to come unglued waiting on the pedi to call back. Thank goodness they have no other symptoms but I am scared. Any experiences with this 1st cold thing would be helpful.

    Lots and Lots of Love and Sleep...It can take up to two weeks for a cold to be over. They might also be teething.

    Always know that a normal cold can drag on for 7-10 days.  That seems like forever when we are vigilant to every symptom!  The best advice is to watch for distress (beyond normal discomfort).  Use a humidifier and elevate the crib mattress to help with sleep.  And, take care of yourself during this stressful time, or you will be sick right along with them.  GL!

    I'm sorry :( The first sickness is stressful. I hope they are ok.  FWIW Andrew handled his like a champ (except he got an ear infection). :)
