Heavy Swollen-feeling cervix?

Every once in a while, maybe once a day, I get this "heavy" feeling in my cervix area.  It's hard to explain.  Like, there is pressure or something.  It kinda feels like when I've had sex after not having it for a while and my vagina is sore...but it's not really sore feeling...just swollen-feeling.  Does this make any sense??

I don't remember feeling this with my first child.

    Yes! I am not as far along as you but I think I know what you mean. I plan to talk with my MW about it in a week at my appt. I wrote it on my list as pressure/open feeling. It just feels like there is a push and it's almost like it feels open? Or swollen? Really strange.

    I get that too. I thought maybe it was just the baby laying in that area.

    I get that sometime. Mine is like a swollen tight feeling. I asked some girls/moms at work (i know they arent doctors) and they said its normal. I feel like my whole "area" is changing a bit. Like its bigger or puffy. Lol

    I had a feeling sort of like that with dd1 my dr said it was due to the increased blood flow to that area during pregnancy.  Maybe your feeling is due to the same thing?
