Are you starting to feel better? Did the inhaler work last night?
My cough is really starting to kill both my ab muscles and my throat, but at least the fever now seems to be under control. The bad news is that last night DH started coughing too.

Thanks for asking! The inhaler seemed to help a little but I'm also taking a rx for cough medicine. Both are fine for pregnant women, I just hate taking all this but I need to if I want to sleep.
I never had a fever, just a horrible cough that gets much worse when I lie down at night. Do you take anything so you can sleep? I hope you and your DH feel better!

Alas, the OTC cough syrup they gave me is not a nighttime forumula, so I'm up quite a bit with the coughing. I'm with you, I hate taking the medicine even though I know Baby will be just fine and the nurse line wouldn't tell me to take it if it wasn't.
How long did you cough before you went in for the inhaler?

My cough still sucks! I wake up every morning with a headache from coughing so much. Thinking I'll probably call my doc tomorrow if it's still this awful.

That's where I'm at. Hope you (and all the other ladies) feel better soon!

I've been sick for about 1.5 weeks but what made me go in to the dr was the fact that I literally couldn't sleep because I was coughing nonstop.

I am going back to the doctor tomorrow if i do not feel better. I have been on amoxicillen since tuesday AM and I am still feeling not one bit better. My husband just told me that his co-worker had the same thing as me (ear infection and sinus infection) and it took her a month after the antiobiotic to feel better. UGH. Robitussen DM has been helping with the nighttime coughing fits (that is the one my ob recommended) and I think the humidifier has been helping.
Hope you all feel better. It is has been so rainy and miserable here in MD - that is not helping
