I have the best DH!

I know we all have plenty to vent about between MILs, achy joints, rude co-workers, etc... BUT I just wanted to take a few minutes to brag on my sweet husband.

1. My husband helps cook/takes over cooking when my feet are swollen, back hurts, or I get frustrated about not being able to reach the top cabinets or bend to get to the bottom cabinets.

2. He'll warm up my rice sock for me anytime my back is aching, even if I don't ask for it.

3. He demands that my days off include Gilmore Girls and a warm soak in the tub. 

4.He'll clean up the house on his days off while I'm at work.

5.He saw me attempting (without success) to paint my toenails and took over for me without me asking him to. AND he lotioned my feet and legs while he was at it. Wonderful.

6. He offered to help me maintain my lady parts with a trim or whatever he could do since I'm not a waxer, but I still like to keep it all under control. 

7. He has taken over 95% of dog duty since we live on the second story of an apartment and stairs are quickly becoming my breathing enemy.

8. If I tell him I can take care of it, he lets me, and doesn't treat me like an invalid.

I'm a blessed woman, and I know he's going to be a great dad to our little girl, too!! 

Go ahead, ladies, brag on your men!

    Yea for wonderful DHs! 

    Mine is the cook in the house even before getting pregnant, he hates painting yet he volunteered to paint the nursery, me rubs my belly because he knows it feels good, and he tells me I am beautiful even when I feel like a whale.

    Must say SUPER JEALOUS!! But so glad to know I don't make these 'pretend men' up in my head, they do exist it's just not the one in my house. Give him a hug for me!!

    Mine is overseas right now but STILL he has been incredibly considerate. He sent my lilies (my favorite) just cause, he purchased expensive belly cream because I was having a stretch mark meltdown and a pregnancy pillow because I couldn't sleep. Both without being asked. As my pregnancy progressed I was having an even harder time sleeping so he ordered me a 3 inch memory foam mattress pad and had it delivered...

    Every time I tell him I'm gonna do anything he tells me to be careful and take special precautions lol. I told him I was going to paint a dresser and he reminded me 10 times to do it out on the balcony, with a mask on, and to be careful because he didn't want me straining anything moving it. I know that if he could be here, he would be spoiling me like crazy.

    Yay for awesome husbands!

    AWWWW! This sounds exactly like my husband. Except for the painting of toenails granted he would if I needed him to but I painted them when I could still reach. My husband would probably help me trim but I would rather do it blind them have him do it.

    Mine has been awesome too.  He has been working hard every day on baby room and tonight he read baby a story. It was so cute, he kept talking to her and describing the pictures and stuff!

    My DH got me bean burritos and asked for onions off it and of course it came with the little bitty onions. He spent thirty min. on each burrito picking the onions out. I of course didnt' have the heart to tell him when I ate them that I still crunched on onions.

    Yayy! I love that someone's finally bragging about DS and not ragging on them!  My DH is wonderful as well.  He's been the cook in the house even before becoming preggo.  But, now that I have GD as well, he makes sure that I'm getting enough protein and following my meal plan.  Last week, he woke up at 4:30am and made me a bunch of hard boiled eggs so I'd have plenty of protein for my meals and snacks!  He's making sure my car is in good working order so I'm safe when I'm driving.  Whatever random thoughts I mumble at night are taken care of when I wake up in the morning.  I love him!!!!
