Bump behind ear?

My 10 month old has a large lump on the side of her head (by/behind her ear). We haven't seen her take any falls that would cause this. Is there another reason she could have a lump there? TIA!

Lymph node... When Matthew has a virus that is the first one to become swollen

Yup, it's a lymph node, according to our doc.

Agree with PPs. Can you feel any more? On the other side of her head, his neck, under her chin, arm pits, groin? If it's just one or two on her head, no worries - it's a virus or infection. Well, you KWIM by "no worries". If he has them all over, you need to get her seen immediately.
