I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not (I know, I know, "If your pedi isn't concerned" blah blah blah, but I worry...) LO was born at 5lb, 3.6 oz at 36 weeks and gained well in her first month- 7lb, 4oz (+2lb), then her gain slowed in the second month- 8lb, 11oz (+1lb, 7oz), and slowed more in her third month to 9lb, 10oz (+15oz.) It seems like from everything I read she should still have been gaining at least 5-7oz a week, which she didn't last month. She also only gained 2.5 inches in three months which is a little less than expected.
Does this sound like perfectly normal, but just a small baby, or does it seem a little on the low side? Her next appointment is next week so I'll get to ask her pedi then but I was just wondering if anyone is in the same boat?
Re: 36 weeker now 4 months old- how is yours gaining?
