Is the 30 day shred still the place to start? I have about 5 lbs to lose and would just like to firm up and be in better shape. Definitely need something for a beginner level and something 30 min or so would be best as I doubt I'd do it if it took longer than that. Suggestions?
Re: Recommend a beginner workout video
I like the 30 day shred (and if you have comcast you can often get part of it from their OnDemand). It is about 20 minutes and you only need hand weights (I started out with those family sized cans and moved up to 5 pound weights).
If you're a beginner you follow one of the girls who does modified moves and you can try the more advanced moves when you feel ready.
30DS really killed my knees.
I like this one:

Ditto everything DandelionMom said.
And even doing the modified moves on level 1 is a great workout. I have knee problems, and when I started that's what I did. I was still sore the next day, and saw results very quickly.
