My child is trying to drive me insane

Because DH works upstairs Mikey sleeps on the sofa during the week - so that we don't disturb DH while he's working. That means Mikey is always with me and never separated from me by so much as a crib rail or anything.

He's been getting tired early the last few days because of his latest cold. Today he started fussing and rubbing his eyes around 10:30. It's 4 now and he only just went to sleep. That's right, 5.5 hours of crying, grabbing at me and doing anything bad he can manage because he's tired and likes to be bad when he's tired.

Grrrrr....

Any chance your DH can temporarily move his work to the downstairs? Seems like that'd be an easier solution until kiddo feels better.

Nah. Mikey and I are in and out all day and I need to feed him etc, so that's an awful lot of disruption for DH.
