Gender?

When you get your BFP (or now that you have it!) will you find out the gender(s) or stick to Team Green?

I'm inpatient, plus I've seen too many u/s's.  Even if they didn't tell me, I think I'd be able to make a pretty accurate guess.  So I'd find out.

    I think I've done enough waiting just to get pregnant. I'm not inclined to do anymore waiting than I have to!  No team green for me!

    I am a planner so the uncertainty of SIF is enough uncertainty for me.  I will definitely find out!

    I too have waited way too long to get PG that I couldn't be on team green (at least not for too long).  I would like to make it a surprise though...as in have the tech write down the sex on a couple pieces of paper and put it in a couple envelopes (one as a backup).  Then have a bakery make a cake with strawberry or blueberry filling and cut into it with family and friends around at a gathering.  I also thought about having a restaurant surprise DH and I when the waiter comes out with a piece of cake with "its's a boy/girl" written in chocolate on it.

    Low AMH = 0.3
    IVF #1 for Feb '10 - cancelled due to poor response - Gonal-f and Repronex
    IVF #1.2 for June '10 - Gonal-f, Menopur, and micro Lupron
    ER - 6/19 (2 retrieved), ET - 6/22 (1 transferred with ICSI), Beta 7/5 = BFFN
    IVF #2 for Nov '10 was cancelled due to poor response - Follistim, Repronex, and micro Lupron
    IVF #2.2 for Feb '11 - Gonal-f, Repronex, and Ganirelix
    ER - 2/24 (8 retrieved), ET - 3/1 (2 transferred with ICSI), froze 3, Beta 3/11 = BFFN
    FET - 4/19 (3 transferred), Beta 4/28 = BFP, EDD 1/4/12

    I totally plan to find out. I could have found out last week, but we just aren't ready and I didn't want it read off a piece of paper while I'm at work and DH isn't there.  We will find out at the 20w u/s like normal people.  Not those ridiculously patient people who are good with surprises! So I guess I have a little patience but it only goes so far.

    We found out with DD and part of me felt like I knew something that I shouldn't know (I know that sounds silly). I want to stay Team Green this time, but who knows if that will actually happen!

    Nov 17: IVF #1 = Cancelled due to non-IF related health issue | TI = BFN
    Dec 17: IVF #1 = Puregon 200, Menopur 75, Orgalutran, Suprefact trigger due to OHSS risk | 22R, 18M, 16F, 10B frozen  
    Feb 18: FET #1 (medicated) = BFN

    Apr 18: FET #3 (natural cycle) = cancelled due to missed ovulation

    I will definitely find out if I am lucky enough to get pregnant again.  I am a planner and like to decorate, pick out clothes, names, etc.

    TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!

    DH and I are finder outers!  If we can have a 3rd it might be fun to wait, but I am pretty sure that wont happen.

    We had 2 years of IF trying to conceive #2 and one loss during that time. We are currently trying for #3! had another loss the end of June

    Should we be lucky enough to get pregnant, I think we will want to know.  But maybe we'll do the "have the tech write it on a card in an envelope and we'll open it together as a family" thing.
