This is such a random question, but we're trying to ready our place for a renter and we have tons of boxes from various baby-related stuff. One thing I'm wondering if we should hold on to are our Britax Carseat boxes (they are shaped so perfectly for the carseats). Will likely be using both seats for awhile when a second kiddo comes along and this will continue with a third child hopefully as well.
Is it worth it to hold on the boxes either for storing the carseats or for when we sell them off? Trying not to be a packrat, but they seem so practical.
Re: Keep Carseat Boxes?
If I had to guess, you're going to have your children close enough in age that you'll never have them back in storage, really.
That being the case - and that they're so big, I'd say no.
FWIW, we have a britax waiting for Will to get big enough and it's in a big heavy duty plastic bag on the shelf.....
My guess is that if you are planning to use them for 3 kiddos, you won't make the expiration date in order to sell them. Most car seats only have a 5-year lifespan, right?
I would chuck the boxes and just use heavy-duty plastic bags as well!

This is kind of what we did. We used the Britax box to house our infant carseat, base and infant tub. They have been in that box, in the garage for about a year now. We are breaking them out here in the next week or so - and then probably tossing the box after that since the infant carseat will be expired by the time we are ready for #3 (I hope).
