Hi ladies!!
I spent a lot of helpful time on the knot boards when I was planning my wedding (what seems like ages ago;-P), and I thought I would hop on here now that we have hit a snag in our quest to start a family.
I had an HSG on 9March and was supposed to start my cycle on 24March. I have ALWAYS been regular and have never missed a cycle (except during my first pregnancy a few years ago that resulted in a miscarriage). I feel like I have been having my usual PMS symptoms with nothing to show for it. My blood pregnancy test on Monday was negative. I am just frustrated waiting for my cycle to start becuase I have a few more labs that need to be done before we can move forward with the process. Has anyone else been a week or more late following an HSG?
Thanks for the help.
M:-)
PS- I promise to get better with the lingo and abbreviations in my next post.

Sounds like you would benefit from reading a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility.
I haven't heard of anyone's cycle being delayed by HSG, but it's probably just that your ovulation was delayed by stress, and thus your period would also be delayed.

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

I second this! I thought I knew a lot about my body, but this book provided a bunch of "a-ha moments".
