Easter Basket ideas for 3 yo?

Hey all, I want to get some stuff together and mail it to my best friends little girl for Easter from the Easter Bunny. She'll be 3 in May (she's so cute!).

Since it has to survive a 3 state postal trip, no chocolate and no crayons (in case it decides to be spring again).

Right now I'm thinking...

Paint with water or coloring book

flip flops

sidewalk chalk

jelly beans

Playdough easter eggs (they have Little People too! I'm getting those for Ryan!)

Anything else?

  • How sweet of you!  I think your list sounds great.

I would go with the paint with water book over the coloring book since I feel like it is a little more special (not the word I'm looking for but you get what I mean...coloring books are easy to come by).

Sunglasses would be cute too if you are looking for something else.

  • I'm planning to try to get my little guy some rain boots and a rain coat. Or any fun outdoor stuff- what about a small indoor gardening kit?  My 3 year old LOVES planting seeds and watching them grow.
