Organic Nail Polish

Hi everyone!

 There seems to be some mixed research on the effects of nail polish . . . we are all going to be wearing a lot of flip flops soon and it would be nice to have pedicures!  Is anyone wearing regular nail polish or going organic?  I found a great website - KarmaOrganics - that sells organic nail polish and remover.  I ordered some and it came really fast!  Just thought I would pass it along!

    Wow, thanks for saying something.  I don't do naked toes in the summer but I hadn't thought about the nail polish issue.  That site has a ton of colors!  Let's hope the polish holds up though.  I'd hate to have to repaint every other day

    What in the hell is in organic nailpolish?  They are all synthetic chemicals.  Next thing we'll be sold into buying organic cars, organic paint, organic toilets! 

     This organic label is getting out of hand!  I'm all for healthier sustainable local produce and food, but I think these days the organic label doesnt mean what it should.

    Oh yeah, I'm planning on using regular polish as well.

    I have never heard anything being wrong with regular nail polish. Organic or not, you just need to make sure it's in a well ventilated area.

    I think people sometimes get confused between Organic and Natural.

    Now that I think about it, when I take my (male) dogs to get their nails trimmed, they have nail polish for dogs that is all natural and toxin free.  I see that reasoning, since dogs chew on their paws all the time.  But unless you're sucking on your toes, I see no reason to go with organic.

    I just wear regular polish and make sure the room is ventilated.
