need a new glider.. recommendations...

I need a new glider. My grandma passed away a month before my BFP for #1 and she had a glider. So I thought it would be nice to take hers. It is SOOOO uncomfortable. The springs under the seat keep popping out and there is now a grease mark on our new carpet.

So before LO#2 arrives, I want to get a new glider. I don;t want to spend a ton of $$ but please recommend yours. Links/Store purchased at would be helpful.

    We need a new one too. The springs are all fallen out and we have IN the frame, not on it. :S

    I think we're going to splurge on a rocking recliner, Lazy Boy style. As nice as the glliders are, after spending hours in them with a sleeping/crying baby, I was sore.

    Then there were the times when DS couldn't sleep anywhere but on me, and a nice comfy recliner would have made my life SO much easier during those times.

    I really dislike Walmart and rarely get anything from there, but we did get our glider from there and I love it!  It is inexpensive and comfortable.  We have it in gingham green.  The reviews on it are great.  Pay attention to the description because the different colors are different materials.  We have the twill material.

    I got this:  https://www.peacefulvalleyfurniture.com/store/item.asp?id=OBT75 and a matching ottoman with blue upholstery. It's an Amish furniture store (Peaceful Valley Furniture) with a few shops in Lancaster county.

    It was expensive, but: 1. it's made in PA by Americans, 2. It's solid oak and matches all of my country style furniture, 3. it will last forever.  I nursed baby in it for 14 months and I plan to use it with any future children.  When I'm done making babies, I'm moving it into the living room.

    We have this one, and I like it.  The cushions are really soft, and we still use it to rock when ds doesn't feel well.

    I have a Dutailier and LOVE it! But it was pricey! Figure it is a piece we'll keep for a very very long time!

    I LOVE my Duatilier Grand Chair that glides and reclines... the ottoman also glides for extra comfort. It was pricey, but worth it.

    I also checked out one made by Carter's in BRU and it was nice and much more affordable... BRU has a broad selection of affordable ones, definitely try before you buy :)
