Hospital Tour Tonight

This whole baby thing is becoming more real as each day passes!  

Tonight DH and I are meeting with the birth planner (free service at my hospital) to take a tour of the hospital and talk about birthing options. I am not planning on having a physical birth plan in writing, but am interested to know the common practices at this particular hospital.

Anyone else looking into birth planning services/hospital tours?

    We didnt/arent meeting with a birthing planner. We did however take a hospital tour. My sister is having her baby tomorrow so about a month ago she wanted to tour and I tagged along. The tour was amazing. I am going to schedule one for this spring where DH and I can go together. That way when I am in the hospital room, DH will know his way around the hospital.

    They won't do our tours until 28 weeks, but it is scheduled! :)

    We'll definitely be doing a hospital tour, probably sometime in May. When we were at the hospital for our NT scan in February, we kept poking around to check out things - can't wait to get the official tour!

    We are going to the "Maternity Social" at our hospital in June. During that we will get to discuss any questions or concerns, take a tour of the birthing rooms, and complete hospital pre-registration. I'm looking forward to it.

    Then we have child birth classes in July. Might get another tour during those, but I'm not sure.
