How are you doing with your Lenten sacrifices?

It's been hard, but I am doing rather well.  I never thought giving up french fries would be harder than chocolate and cokes, but I think I would rather have french fries right now than either of the other two!  (in case you can't tell, I eat way toooo many fries!! LOL)

    Every now & then I'll look up & ask if it's Easter yet (!), but for the most part I've been doing okay. I had a really heavy craving for a pretzel 2 days in a row last week, but I survived.

    I'm dying over here!!!  TB is the only way for me to talk to people outside of my normal circle!!!  I just looked at the calendar like it's been 3 weeks...3 more to go!!!  Gosh I miss FACEBOOK!!!!!!!  I don't have all of my fb friends' contact information...namely you ladies!!!!!!  Ahhhhhhhhhhh...I can do it...I can do it...I can do it!!!

    Every time I want something to drink at home, I have to remind myself to grab either the tea or pour a glass of water. The no soda thing is really hard. No chocolate isn't too bad, except when DH forgets and asks if I want chocolate syrup on my ice cream.

    I gave up gossiping.  Doing pretty well, but you know, sometimes you really have to stop and thik about if what you are talking about is gossiping or recalling an event. I work with mainly women and one gay guy so my work is a breeding ground for gossip.

    I thought that there was a technical loophole in that you could break your Lenten sacrifice on Sundays?  LOL  I don't need to do that this time around since all I have to do is not watch porn... but when I gave up candy, oh hell no.  I had to eat some on Sundays.

    Yes, the 40 days doesn't include Sundays.  I just go straight through...easier that way for me.

    I don't cheat on Sundays either. I don't think it's much of a challenge if you allow yourself to do it on Sunday.
