Above the belly button

I just feel like my upper belly above my belly button is getting so big.  The baby is still tiny and way down south.  What's up with this bloaty tummy going on?

    I've got it too.  I refer to the area above my belly button as my food baby because it's really just displaced fat.  I figure everything below my belly button has to shift and go somewhere so all of mine is heading north.

    Yes, mine is hard as well.  People probably think I'm like 6 months prego, but nope the baby is still below the belly button and very tiny.  Just in an awkard stage.

    It's your intestines. Look at that link someone posted earlier from the Museum of Science and industry in Chicago. Everything has bee pushed into that area and that is where you intestines, stomach and a bunch of other things are now hanging out.

    I have that too. Actually my boobs kinda rest on it now when I am sitting down lol. When I bend over it kinda folds into itself and rolls. It's very interesting.

    Makes me feel much better that the upper part of my tummy sticking out isn't because of too many pickles & cream cheese! (At least, I hope not!!)

    at my 14th week appt my OB said that my uterus was right where it was supposed to be...right at my belly button and i've been experiencing eating a little and feel SOOOOOO full!! i'm thinking when our uterus grows some of our organs get kinda pushed upwards, maybe thats what your experiencing?!?! then again, i'm not a doc, have had some anatomy classes but not qualified to say thats what it is...lol

    With DD, I couldn't really eat in the last few weeks. I lost 3 pounds then as I felt so full whenever I had a single bite to eat. It is getting really cramped in there towards the end.
