I was wondering what you ladies are doing with your LO's to keep them entertained and active? We still have snow up here so I cant take DD outside much.. but I am always looking for new things to stimulate her and let her have some fun!!
Our latest fun game is hide and seek. Mostly, it's me hiding and DS trying to find me. He hasn't quite caught on to the idea of hiding himself. Usually, I just hide somewhere under a blanket. He thinks it's hilarious.
Lately both of my girls have made a toy out of a swivel-wheeled carry-on suitcase we have. DH had it out for a business trip, and DD1 asked to play with it again when he got back so it's been sitting out ever since. DD1 likes running and jumping up on it so that it slides across the floor, and DD2 just likes pushing it around. (Our first floor is all hardwood.)
DD2 also likes finger painting, playing tag and hide-and-seek (which to her are really just about chasing and playing peek-a-boo behind the curtains), and of course just pulling everything out of drawers and shelves which isn't nearly as enjoyable for me. lol. Even just switching up where we're playing -- in the basement or their bedrooms instead of just the playroom -- helps keep them entertained.
I can't wait for the weather to stay warm so we can spend more time outside!
