HCG injection- stomach or bottom?

I am taking my HCG shot tonight for my second IVF. For this IVF I also changed clinics (Cleveland Clinic). My instructions for the HCG tonight it to inject in my stomach and not my upper part of my butt ( intramuscular). I asked the nurse today and she confirmed that it was to go through the stomach ( using a smaller needle). At my old practice I always did HCG intramuscularly. Anyone do it in the stomach?

    I've done both.   Ovidrel (2 in the stomach - SQ) for my 1st and 3rd IVF and Novarel (butt- IM) for my 2nd.

    I just did a Novarel shot last Thursday. IM.

    This was the first cycle I ever had to do the injectables and they had me do mine through the stomach. Felt like I had a lump there for a couple days.

    I did all of my other meds in the leg, but I did the hcg in the stomach.
    Me: 27, DH: 28 TTC since 11/09
    2/10 & 3/10 Clomid 50mg-BFN
    5/10-Lap Surgery for Stage 2 Endo
    3/11-IUI#1 with Follistim and Menopur-developed mild OHSS= BFN
    6/11-IUI#2 with Follistim -developed moderate OHSS= BFN!
    7/11-FSH-11, AMH 1.6
    9/11-ttc naturally with positive thoughts :)
    10/6/11-POSITIVE pregnancy test!!! 15dpo BETA-220
    6/14/2012- Riley Harper arrived!! We love our little girl

    I did all my triggers (ovidrel last time) in my tummy
    Fraternal twin boys born 1/12/12 at 36 weeks
    Identical twin girls expected in March!

    Yep! And it is one of the easiest injections I have ever done. The little needle is good quality and slides right in with no resistance, and you don't feel the medication at all! GL!

    For both my IUIs and IVFs, I used ovidrel, SQ, in the belly. For the IVF cycles, the RE had me do two shots of ovidrel. For IUI, I used one.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.
