Repost- Ultrasound ?

Did anyone have their anatomy scan done in the OB office by their OB?  I guess, my last one was done in the office but by an ultrasound tech, so my OB was probably the only one who saw the pictures.  I switched offices though, and I just sort of assumed that I'd have it at the hospital this time.  I really like my OB, and feel he's experienced and knowledgeable, but it seemed a little odd at first.  Anyone else have this?

    An OB did mine-

    BFP #1: 10/2011, Pre-eclampsia in last 6 weeks, emergency C-section, DD born 6/25/11

    BFP #2: 8/16/14, Ectopic Pregnancy & Methotrexate Inj. 9/5/14, Adverse MTX reaction, HCG levels down after 2 weeks

    BFP #3: 2/23/2016, EDD 10/28/2016

    an OB will be doing mine. at the hospital where i'll be delivering. it's an OB in connection with the hospital and my OB office.
    i dont find it weird. i find it better.... usually ultrasound techs look at ALL types of pictures...where OBs know exactly what to look for.

    I had mine done by a tech at the hospital, at the end the OB came in and just looked over all the pics she took.

    I guess I should inform myself more...

    I go to an imaging suite where they do my ultrasounds. A tech takes the pictures and then the doctor comes in for last minute measurements and to talk about the findings. I'm assuming this doc is an OB, but not sure (hence needing to educate myself!!). Then, when I go for my appointment with my OB, she reviews what the imaging place did and confirms the findings.

    I have a friend, though, who's OB does her u/s in the office.

    With DD, my OB had a special "u/s suite" and a u/s tech did the majority of the scan, with the OB coming in at the end to look things over. At my new OB, it seems they send u/s out to the Radiology dept. It's in the same building, but I think I just see the tech that day and go over everything with the OB at my next appt.

    My OB does mine in office.  I have had them done in the office by u/s techs too (with my first pg).  I think it depends on why you're having it done as to who does it.  But they have the equipment in office.
