Maternity Clothes

Looking for gently used maternity clothes. I don't care if they are new or not, I am just trying not to spend a ton of money on them. Mostly looking for dresses as they are much more comfortable then work pants. Any stores/ideas? I've already checked out some online options, with little luck.

Re: Maternity Clothes

  • Kid to Kid in Drexel Hill has a good selection of maternity clothes.  It's a consignment shop, and their prices are great.  You can also check local thrift stores, but you really have to hunt.  I know the Super Thrift on Aramingo and York St. has a small maternity section.

  • Not sure about used, but I bought some great and cheap dresses from Old Navy when I was pregnant.  Mostly online but some in store.

  • Try out Freecycle.

I know they always have baby clothes on there (and curb alerts and such).

What size are you?  I will need L-XL....maybe we can help each other out.

  • Ditto Kid to Kid in Drexel Hill. I also found a lot of inexpensive new maternity clothes at Old Navy, Kohls and JCP. I stalked The Gap and Ann Taylor for sales and I think The Gap outlet has maternity too (not positive). Almost all of my pants were from The Gap and they held up so well from multiple wears I would highly recommend spending the money on them. I miss my maternity pants actually! I got so used to wearing them that I was puzzled as to why my jeans wouldnt just slide off after I had dd....I forgot that I was back to buttons and zippers! hahah.

  • A friend referred me to www.playgroundbuzz.com which lists consignment shops and sales.  I visited Yours, Mine & Ours in Newtown this weekend and got some good stuff.  I also rely heavily (and have had alot of luck) on Craigslist.  I find it's a good way to meet local moms.
