how do you insert an image?

Hi, I want to insert an image of my u/s pic into my post. How do you insert a jpg? I see that when you compose your message you can click on insert/edit image, but then it asks for a URL. I also tried copy/paste but didn't have luck. Can you help?

    tinypic.com --> upload image (*resize....I think "website/email" is best) ---> follow prompts --> get URL for forum/message boards ---> copy/paste!  Voila!
