baby jogger city mini double Q : )

I think we're going to order it, finally after much deliberation.  I think since it fully reclines Surprise will be fine laying down in it.  DH thinks we will miss the carseat adapter portion.  Thoughts?  I'm just concerned about the adapter because in the pictures it looks like it will take up space from the other kiddo...ugh.

    My BFF just got this for her 2 YO and NB. She puts the carseat in with the seat laying flat and says it works great, I haven't seen it though.

    Two thoughts... for the difference in price, you might want to consider the City Select. If that isn't possible, call Baby Jogger customer service and ask your question about whether the car seat adapter interferes with the second seat of the City Mini Double. They are super helpful!!

    albeebaby.com is running their 2010 mini doubles for $299 so the price jump is too steep for the select for us.  Good idea about calling cust service though, hadn't even crossed my mind : )  I think we'll try it without the carseat adapter, and if we feel like we need it after using it a while, we can always order it seprately.  Thanks for the ideas guys!

    we don't use the adapter...we just put him in the seat fully reclined with a head positioner for extra support

    That's what I was planning on doing...do you like it so far?  Any complaints? (other than not really being able to access the storage basket)
