i have 2 kids and they are 2.5 yrs apart. I'm planning on having a 3rd but might wait another year when my youngest is a little older.
My Ovulation Chart
early m/c 09/05, early m/c 02/08,and missed m/c 04/12 at 16 weeks
**I was Diagnosed with Factor V Leiden & Heterozygous Mthfr 02/08
I was put on Lovenox while pregnant with my daughter and will also be for my next pregnancy
21 months between #1 and #2; 27 months between #2 and #3. Honestly, the closer gap was easier, but I think it's more due to personalities than spacing.
27.5 mo--at the time I wanted much closer. Then 29mo & wanted further apart. I do not recommend having kids 2.5yrs apart. It was really hard especially the first yr of having 3. I'll qualify that mine have either been colicky or horrible sleepers which makes things harder I think.
My girls are 20 months apart and then DD#2 to DS is 24 months, but it feels like a huge difference. My girls are really really close - partly because they share a room and are the same gender, but either way, DD#2 "grew up" faster to be like DD#1. DS is the baby in every sense of the word and knows it. Anyway, the age difference feels huge sometimes, but it's getting smaller now that all three can play together.
FWIW - I love the age difference and that they'll all grow up "together" and play together and everything. All three will be 2 years apart in school so they should be able to have their space and everything there while still having similar interests and abilities...
Umm does it count that 2/3 of mine came as a pair? lol
L was 1yr 11 days old when the girls were born. It was C.R.A.Z.Y. for the first few months while we got the girls on a schedule. But by 6 months things had settled down quite a bit and going pretty good.
I used to want 4yrs between kids. Im glad it didnt work out that way. I LOVE how close they are.
DS #1 and #2 are 18 months apart, and DS #2 and DD will be 30 months apart. Since #3 is not here yet I can't truly know how it will be, but I'm hoping and praying the larger age gap is going to be easier than the smaller was!! NOW I love how close in age the boys are, but it was super-hard on me in the beginning. My hope this time around is that the boys will entertain each other largely and be sort of a "unit" while I care for baby (so hoping it just feels like the "boys" and the "baby" vs. contending with three separate levels constantly).

1-2 = 25 months

DS#1 and DS#2 = 23 months
DS#2 and DD = will be 15 months
DS1 and DS2 are 23 months apart. DS2 and DD are 25 months apart.
I really like the two-year spacing. Actually, I wouldn't want them any further apart and I kind-of wish they were a little closer.
My first two are 2.5 years apart. This one will also be 2.5 years apart.
