 I LOVE the new board and name!  

I really haven't been around much lately because of work.  I am lurking a little when I can and cheering everyone on!

 A little update on me:  DH and I are still in limbo as to what path we are going to take.  I have gotten all my testing (hormones, genetic, etc) done and everything came back fine.  DH is going to go for genetic testing which we originally declined to have done. 

We have gotten the cost of IVF from our clinic.  It would be $16,000 for 2 cycles over 18 months with unlimited FET's.  If these cycles don't work, then they would do another fresh cycle at no cost.  Of course this doesn't include the cost of meds.  So to me, this sounds like three chances, maybe more if we are able to freeze anything.  I would love to hear how this ranks with your clinic for those who've done IVF. 

 Anyway, thanks for letting me ramble on.  I really miss you girls.  I can't wait until tax season is over!

TTC #1 since Oct 2006 with severe MFI.
Summer/Fall 2011 - DH on clomid. Helped with morphology and motility, but count still under 1 million.
February 2011 - First RE appointment to discuss options.
March 2011 - We aren't sure what we are going to do right now. DH isn't sure about DS.

    Hi there!!!!!!!!!

    Good luck making ur decision!  My clinic does IVF cycles for $10,200 plus the cost of meds.  I have not heard of any packages offered.

    So i think that sounds like a pretty good package, for at least 3 tries...plus FETs.

    Hello!!

    My clinic does a shared risk cycle for $13250.00. That is for two fresh and however many frozen. I think we get $8500.00 back if we don't have a take home baby. Like you I plan on using that to pay for another fresh. This does not include monitoring or meds. 

    After 3 years of infertility we were blessed with twin girls through private infant adoption.

    Hi lady!!  sounds like you're making great progress with the testing.  Good luck on the tx decision!  I think the price your clinic quoted you for essentially 3 attempts plus FET sounds  very good!
