It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

This is an Advanced TTTC group those who have been trying 3+ years and/or have multiple failed IUI?s /IVFs, etc. I just ask that everyone please use good judgment when asking to join...in other words, if you are still in the IUI stage or have been on this journey less than two years, this is probably not the group for you. If you are interested in joining please PM me.
There is no doubt that this whole TTTC process is painful, but I also do believe that there is a very special kind of support that this specific group can offer to each other, and it is intended as a "safe haven" for those of us who are in that bottom 1% of the bottom 1%.

Update: Still in Beta Hell. I put a call into my nurse to request an u/s but I'm still waiting to hear back from her. I had some pretty heavy spotting yesterday but it has tapered a bit today.
QOTD: I have been following March Madness, but I didn't do any brackets. I love seeing an underdog do well. Truthfully, I would prefer to see a Final of Butler versus VCU, but since they're paired in the semi-final game, it can only be one of them. I'm guessing it will be a final of Butler vs. UConn.

QOTD: Of course I do! Although now I'm really ready for baseball because of the great weather we've been having! My bracket is totally busted..and I was ok with it as long as Carolina was still in it...

TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
I'm new to the group- I'm mainly a lurker, but feel really like I belong more on the infertility page than the TTCAL, etc. pages. Everyone seems very supportive and friendly, so I think I'll hang out here.
You can read most about me in my siggy, but I've been married for almost 11 years now and we've been TTC for the entire time. I've been there, done that with clomid, injectibles, IUI's and IVF's. An IVF was successful and I made it to 32 weeks before developing severe pre-eclampsia and losing the baby last April. We attempted another IVF last October, retrieved 8 eggs but none of them fertilized.
This summer we're planning another (and probably last) IVF cycle- we're OOP for everything and we simply cannot afford anything after this if it doesn't work. I'm throwing everything at the wall this go around- have been doing yoga for a year, started acupuncture a couple months ago and I'm gluten free now for 4 whole days. Needless to say- I can't say I'm a little scared, it's more like A LOT. Not just the IVF working, but the re-occurance of pre-e in a second pregnancy and the potential for another failure... That's enough Debbie Downer for now.
Sorry for the book, but now you're caught up!
My bracket was busted when Duke lost, but then KU lost too- so I'm completely out! Better luck next year...

Update: I've been having spotting on/off again and am basically going btwn a constant state of freak out and trying to enjoy the moment. Ugh.
TTC in 2008. Stage II/III endo, Hashimotos hypothyroid, low morph (3%).
2 cycles Clomid/Ovidrel/TI/Crinone=BFN.
IUI #1 - 4 Follistim/Ovidrel/IUI/Crinone = BFN.
IVF #1 - Antagonist w/ ICSI 4/10. 17 retrieved, 5DT of 2, BFN
IVF #2 - Long Lupron w/ ICSI 6/10. 15 retrieved, 3DT of 2, BFFN!!
Lap 7/21/10
IVF #3 - Clomid/Antagonist w/ ICSI 10/10. 14 retreived, 3DT of 3, BFP 10/20 but m/c. No HB 11/15/10 - D&C 11/17/10.
FET - 2 blasts, 1 survived the thaw. Transfer 2/19. Beta #1 3/1 375, Beta #2 3/3 885, Beta #3 3/8 4261, Beta #4 3/11 9005. U/S 3/8 1 sac 1 yolk, U/S 3/16 1 heartbeat 114bpm!
James born Oct. 24th 2011 via c-section at 38 weeks!

Update: Started BCP's for IVF#2 this past Friday. Just put up a post on change in protocal.
QOTW: I do get into March Madness when I've filled out a bracket.. and man o man is mine ever busted!!!!! I knew all #1's and #2's wouldn't make it, so I chose some way out there one's: Obvisouly not the right ones. O well, there's always next year!

Update: In beta hell at the moment, 1 & 2 did what they needed to do, but #3 only increased about 21%, so it's beta #4 and an u/s tomorrow.

UPDATE I had my lap Monday: stage I endo, but not bad. We will proceed with a prep cycle (coculture and EP) and stim with the cycle following that one. SO HAPPY !!!
