SLC hospitals & OBs

Hello, everyone!

 My husband has a potential job opportunity in SLC and I am 6 mos pregnant.  We are planning a trip to the area this week and I was wondering if anyone can recommend an OB doctor or hospital/birthing center that we could arrange to tour while we are in town.  I'm kind of sad about leaving our current doctor, who I adore, but that's life, I guess!  Any advice, including drs/hospitals to avoid, would really be appreciated!  Thanks in advance :)

    I heard great things about the OB's at IHC in Murray just googling around and am being seen by Dr. Ponder.  So far so good.  I am due in about a week and a half.  The hospital is really new and seems like the OBs and midwives are all great.  I wish I had more I could tell you, but we are relatively new to the area as well.  GL!

    I'm seeing Dr Howard Sharp, he is the head of OB at the University Hospital, he is a very kind man and the rest of the staff is amazing as well.  I had spotting at 9 weeks and my first appointment wasn't for a couple days, he had me come right up to the floor he was on call at (avoiding emergency fees normally incurred by anyone under 12 weeks I think) did an ultrasound and had them do all my blood work so they wouldn't have to poke me again in a couple weeks, I wasn't charged for a thing, I think the labs were covered by my insurance and we got to see my little baby's heart spinning away.  Two of my sisters have delivered with him and love him, and his father has delivered some of my husbands friends great people!  His number is 8012132995.

    I live up north in the Layton area and saw Dr. Craig Hurst and delivered at Davis Medical Center. I loved my doctor and the hospital was absolutely amazing!

    I go to St. Marks. I absolutely love it there I won't go to any other hospital due to the treatment from the staff. My OB is Dr. Camille Stevensen at the millcreek womans center located at that hospital. There are also 5 other doctors in that office. It is also located at 3900s 1100e
