TTC after 35

I'm guaranteed to get KU now!

I just signed up for a 20 session personal training class with 2 co-workers! We start on 4/12 and go twice a week(that's when the current session ends, no choice on the delay). The trainer is a nurse by day so I told her about my possible limitations at different times of a cycle and she said she can work around it. I'm guaranteed to have thrown the $$ out the door and will get KU naturally now right?  Minor details that I did not O...

  • I will be doing boot camp right through my cycle and my doc doesn't see a problem with it.  Once I am pregnant I will need a heart rate monitor to continue and a few modifications, but I hope to be able to keep it up.

So how did you like Fertility Solutions?  Who was it you see again?  I ask because a different doc did my ultrasound this morning, Dr. Huang. She was nice.

I only met the doctor for the consult so I don't have an opinion yet on how they operate etc yet. I am seeing Dr. Wold. She's the only one in Providence but if an IUI falls on a weekend, I'd go to Dedham (as well as the IVF) so I imagine I will meet some others there.  I like that it seems you have more access to the doc (the fact that your doc did the u/s herself!  Wow! Love it as I can ask questions without being told I have to wait for the doctor to review it) I also liked that the doc said they left the other place because they were tired of corporate rules.  I'm looking forward to getting started.  The doc told me to lose some pounds before IVF so I think she will be fine with my class.

Do you know when your ER will be yet (rough idea)?

  • Excellent news!  I hope you have a good experience with them.

My doc is aiming for a retrieval April 14-16 but I have a bizarre hunch that it will be before the 15th.

  • yep, Mazel Tov!

  • You go, McIrish!  It's amazing what losing weight can do for you - not just physcially but emotionally as well.

I'm sure you will be able to continue modified workouts when you get KU'd.
