Insert foot here :o
So DH and I dropped FIL off at the American Legion (Bar for veterans) today and the bartender decided to comment on my bump. Shes about 45-50 yrs old and weird, no one really likes her there. She was telling me about her daughter thats pregnant (38w or so) and how she might have to get induced and I said thats cool I go this week to see if we can find out the gender. She perks up and says I think its a girl bc you have love handles. I have big hips (Im talking like 40" hips before baby) so I say I had those before but thanks. and the smile wipes off her face and Oh well I still think its a girl.

I was joking about my child-bearing hips and had friend tell me "oh that's just a myth, the width of your hips has nothing to do with how easy labor is." I about smacked her.
PLEASE tell me I've been carting these things around since I was 14 for a good reason! LOL!

Hahah!!! Mine popped put when I was about 12!! But they say it gives the baby more room
so hopefully thats true!
In general, I am tiny. About 5'8" and about 120 pre-pregnancy.
As well as seriously long legs, I have HIPS like you wouldn't believe! Hopefully they help me out in this baby business!
ETA: When your hips appear overnight, at about 12-13, you get "zebra butt". They gave me so many stretch marks!
lol luckily mine took their time at stretching but instead of having the "bubble/shelf butt" its more wide than anything!! but my stretch marks are just on my hips and they follow the curve of them so it looks gross
