First appointment and ultrasound this morning!

Because I've enjoyed reading about others' appointments, I thought I'd post mine.

I was (very) anxious about the appointment being too soon to see the heartbeat, but all was well.  

It was a pretty quick appointment, but I did get an ultrasound (first abdominal, then transvag).  According to my LMP, I'm 6w2d and u/s showed all the necessary parts (measuring 6w exactly) and a heartbeat of 118bpm.  

The second best news is I get to go back in two weeks for another appointment/ultrasound.  (This really helps my neurotic self. ;)

    YAY! congrats :) I would be so thrilled to be able to go back in another 2 weeks :)  My appt is next Thursday and it cannot come soon enough!

    Congrats! I have my first appointment on Friday, and I can't wait either!
