mini vent - like father, like son

DH has a current project.  He's designing a board game board for one of the games we love for a contest they're running.  He's been doing it for the last.... hmmm... how old is C - 5 1/2 weeks or so.  Whenever he gets these project ideas, he gets obsessed, and really wants to win and knit picks everything ad nauseum, which is SO not me, and therefore drives me a bit crazy.  (DH: "Do you think that shading is ok, or it should be darker"  ME:  "I don't know"  DH:  "Well, do you think that it needs to stand out more, or should I keep it that light"  ME:  "I don't know that it matters."  DH: "Well, should I make them darker."  ME:  "Sure... try it!!!  (and mutters to myself 'leave me aloooooone!!!!!"  What can I say - I'm a bad wife).

So, the IL's are here, and since DS #1 went to sleep around 3:30ish (it's now 6), FIL & DH have been knit picking everything from the icons he's used, to how the scoring numbers work, to, at the moment, how big the game board is....  I went away to feed 45 minutes ago, and they're STILL doing it!  I'm happy that they've found something to bond over, but OMG!!!!!!

    Hilarious - I also am not a perfectionist so I would be annoyed too, but look at it this way: now he has someone to nit pick with and will leave you alone for a bit (hopefully)!
