Question about neosure

Do you find it really thick and sort of slimy? I hate the consistency of it and I am pretty sure my boys do as well.  Neither of them are really spitter-uppers but the off time it happens it is always with the neosure.

Anyone else experience this?

Re: Question about neosure

  • I never used Neosure but you can try Enfacare. It's the Enfamil brand of Neosure. I don't find it slimy at all.

  • We use neosure and I've never seen it be slimy. If it's the ready to feed formula you're talking it, then it is a bit thicker and darker color than powder formula. the powder formula for neosure is much lighter and not goopy.
  • DD didn't like the RTFs - I also thought they were thicker and a little gross. She takes the powdered version without issue and I dont find it gross at all.

  • We used the ready to feed over the weekend and it was gross, IMO.  DS also spit up a lot more than he ever has and it gave him horrible smelling gas.  We won't be using it again.

  • Thanks ladies! I'm using the ready to feed (with twins we are trying anything to make our lives easier). However, I'm going to go with the powder from now on.

    Thank you again!
