What do you use to clean your toilet bowl? How long does it last?
I used to buy toilet cleaner from the dollar store and I swear I could go a month without having to clean the bowl again. We don't have any $ stores near us, so I had a coupon for some scrubbing bubble toilet wand (where you buy the pads to use then flush them)....I swear I have to clean the toilet bowl every week at least. It's horrible. I almost feel like the chemicals that clean it cause some reaction that makes the toilet dirty really fast (yes, it's a scam to get you to buy more!). It's the most bizarre thing! Anyways, I'm looking for something else because I'm sick of the toilet looking dirty after a few days. Anything work really well?
Re: NBR-Toilet Cleaner?
We use the toilet want - I think by clorox. We don't flush the pad thing though (not sure if you are supposed to?) and I've never noticed it being too dirty.
DH is too nervous to use tablets in the tank because of the constant chemicals and kids ...or something...
I use the clorox scrubies. That you throw away instead of flush. It works really good. They are usually clean when I re-do it the following week.
I am contemplating switching to a regular brush though. Sometimes I get worried about certain cleansers and this is not one I would want dd to accidently get in her mouth or eyes. I only have like 4 discs left, so in a few weeks I will probably buy a new brush and large vase like holder and just fill it with dish soap and water since I heard that will keep it equally clean as long as I do it more frequently.
I use dish soap or baking soda. Sometimes Seventh Generation toilet bowl cleaner if I have a coupon.

I think this is what I use too. It has bleach in it and it's like a gel you squirt out. I think it works great. I also try to clean the toilet every week or two, but I've definitely gone longer than that (especially in the 1st tri with my m/s!) and it's stayed pretty clean!

I use the Lysol one with bleach. I clean my toilets every week and they are usually still looking pretty good when I go to clean them.
FYI I also use this cleaner in my kitchen sink. Works SO awesome!
