XP - Where does your LO nap!?

Where does your LO nap!?

My LO is just 3 weeks old. During the day I've been napping her in the pack n play or swing right in my living room. I spend my whole day in this area of the house and I thought it was most convienent to have her right there where I can see her (and stare at how adorable she is). But this morning I had her in her bassinet in my room while I put away laundry and while she listened to music. But she fell asleep and stayed asleep so well that I didn't bring her downstairs like I usually would. It's darker in my room than in my sunny living room so I'm thinking that's maybe why she slept for the extra hour or so?

I was wondering where you all nap your LO during the day. Will leaving her to nap in the dark during the day confuse her nights/days? I don't want her to never see the sun! And even worse, for me to never see her if I'm doing housework downstairs! I love to cuddle with her throughout the day and napping her a whole floor away will def lessen our cuddle quality time but I want her to get her best sleep for as long as possible.

Thoughts?!

    I have my computer set up in my dinning room, right next to my laundry room and kitchen. So LO takes naps in her high chair. It lays back so she is pretty comfy in it and I get to do dishes and laundry and be at my computer while she is right next to me.

    My LO naps in his bassinet, bouncer, or swing during the day. Our house is very bright during the day so pretty much anywhere I put him is bright and sunny. I try to make sure it's really dark and quiet at night for him because he did have his days and nights confused for awhile.

    DS naps in whatever room DH and I are in..and he'll either sleep with us holding him, in his swing, or in his Rock and Play.
