Tricycle recs?
We are thinking of getting Liam a tricycle for his birthday. Any recommendations? Worth splurging on the Radio Flyer one?
What age do they usually move up to a bike with training wheels? I don't want to sink too much $ into a trike if he'll only use it for a year.

Or could he skip a trike and ride something like this instead?
We got Nate a Radioflyer tricycle from Craigslist. Definitely look there! The one we got was barely used and I think I paid $15 for it. We got the one that has the handle so you can help steer a younger kid (we got it before he turned 2).
I think one of the main considerations is how long his legs are. My parents got Nate a Big Wheels type thing, and his legs are barely long enough to reach the pedals. So he mostly scoots himself around instead of pedaling right now. A bigger bike with training wheels might have too much distance between the seat & pedals. I'd want to try it out in a store before committing to a bigger bike.
