Is it weird to want to AW...

That I had a second letdown today!

I've never had a second letdown, so this is huge - but still maybe not AW worthy.

Oh, how my life has changed, lol!

    I wanted to AW the other day when I pumped an ungodly amount at work.  Telling DH about stuff like that just really loses it's meaning!  LOL!  AW away!

    Um, no.

    And I've caved and have let her nurse before bedtime only.  This is actually doable in the sense that it doesn't mess with my supply for Lila b/c she's already down for her first long stretch when Charlotte goes to bed, however, I'm not sure that I'm not just doing it to make myself feel less guilty and that the bedtime only nursing sessions are making things more confusing and harder on her during the day.  I really do think it's all or nothing with her, so this probably isn't the best route to take, but nonetheless it's what we've been doing the last few days.

    I don't think it's confusing - she'll just get used to that being the routine - eventually.  You've got to draw the line somewhere.  It's also probably good for your supply - I know that my supply sucked (literally?) in the evenings.

    Poor kiddo. It's tough. She'll get used to it. That's how we weaned -- we were down to nursing just in the evenings and when it became clear she didn't really need it, we just gave it up. She'll get there.

    How's Lila doing? Is she happier and seeming more satisfied?

    I think so, but it's hard to tell since she's overcoming some cold symptoms.  She did sleep much better last night, for the first time in a week, so I'm hoping that is a good sign and that it continues.

    Not weird at all?something probably only the ladies on this board could fully appreciate!!  I hope things with Charlotte continue to improve.  Sounds like you are doing what's best for you and her right now...and that is really all you can do!

    Re; the above quote - I always want to AW my supply and telling DH definitely loses it's meaning.  So maybe I will start AW my ungodly amounts when they happen (like on Monday when I pumped over 20 ounces with two pumps - WOO HOO!
